Departure from Scuderie Ardichetto at 09:00 am. After passing through old roads and paths of woodlands you reach an height of 800m a.s.l. and the reast area organizaed from the forest rangers, where you will visit the lava cave “Grotta del Gatto”.Your ride continue through old roads and paths of woodlands until you reach the summit of “Monte Ilice” an old extinct crater approximately 700m a.s.l. and you will ride along the border of the extinct volcano: don’t miss the amazing view over the coast.

From here you can see some more volcanic cones, like “Monte S. Nicolò” a small old volcanic cone, greened with orchards and vegetation before your ride continue to descend in direction of your starting point.
